Old Family Name

Old Family Name: For a number of land grantees, we were unable to locate their individual name in lists of either Old Inhabitants or Loyalists.  However, if we found that their family name was common in the Bahamas prior to the Loyalist Period, we labeled them as “Old Family Name.”
